Hey Guys,
We have an event this weekend for the NYRR again! This should actually be around the last one for this year so make the best of it and go! Also, we will be needing people to write penpal letters for our friends in AFRICA! =) Here's a message from Jane, your Advocacy committee Head:

Hey guys,
PEN PAL letters are due next week on the 20th. (60 points each, include picture of yourself or hand-drawn picture of anything, handwritten) and remind members to bring in donations (school supplies, notebooks, pens, pencils, books (preferably novel), etc.). If they have any questions about USACF, they can email me at jyang1@stuyhs.net.
Thanks.
Jane

Alright so make sure you guys write those letters! Even if you're not interested in joining the USACF committee, just by giving us a Pen Pal letter will earn you 60 POINTS! Also, we will be setting up somewhere next week after school to collect the letters and donations so make sure you guys keep track of your e-mails!

Candy Distribution on Monday and Tuesday

Oh man... only TWO full weeks left before we get ELEVEN days off.
We. Are. Hyped.

Anyway, this Monday and Tuesday, starting from 10th period up to 4 PM on the dot, boxes of candy ($30 and $20) will be distributed on the first floor in front of the a capella room (which is at the end of the chorus/band hallway). Please support our efforts in raising money for the Brock Project (http://thebrockproject.com/) by selling a box of candy. We ask no money on your part because you will be reimbursed by the amount of candy we give you. The only effort required by you is to carry a box of goodies around. Simple as that. So, please help the Katrina victims in Louisiana rebuild their school by selling a box of candy. Christmas is here and its about caring, giving, and helping. Don't forget to do your part.

I hope to see hordes of people tomorrow and the day after.

Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah!

meeting and candy distribution tomorrow

Holler yall.

So tomorrow, the weekly meeting will once again take place in the cafeteria. Please be there or be square.

In addition, one really important thing is happening at the meeting. Candy will be distributed to those interested. It's a simple process and further elaboration is permitted if you drop by and discuss it with us. We will be selling $20 and $30 boxes again. Please do your best in supporting the different organizations and causes we contribute to by selling a box of candy. It's simple yet simultaneously achieves humanitarian assistance to the less fortunate.

Tis all. And to all a good night.

XOXO
