We have an event this weekend for the NYRR again! This should actually be around the last one for this year so make the best of it and go! Also, we will be needing people to write penpal letters for our friends in AFRICA! =) Here's a message from Jane, your Advocacy committee Head:
Hey guys,
PEN PAL letters are due next week on the 20th. (60 points each, include picture of yourself or hand-drawn picture of anything, handwritten) and remind members to bring in donations (school supplies, notebooks, pens, pencils, books (preferably novel), etc.). If they have any questions about USACF, they can email me at jyang1@stuyhs.net .

Alright so make sure you guys write those letters! Even if you're not interested in joining the USACF committee, just by giving us a Pen Pal letter will earn you 60 POINTS! Also, we will be setting up somewhere next week after school to collect the letters and donations so make sure you guys keep track of your e-mails!

Date: Sunday, December 15
Time: 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Central Park's East Drive at East 102nd Street
Directions: Take the 3 train to 110th street and exit near intersection of Central Park N. and Lenox Ave. Start going EAST on Central Park N towards Lenox Ave. Turn right onto Frawley Cir. And then turn right again onto 5th Ave. Then walk down to 102nd Street and enter the park.
