AIDS Walk **PROJECT OF THE MONTH - MAY** is TOMORROW!!!
For those of you who signed up (either as a walker or a volunteer), YOU HAVE TO COME!! It is one of the BIGGEST events of the year with an extremely important cause. Plus, it's going to be a lot of FUN! (Click here for a map.)
Walkers:
Project Captain: Anthony Choi [917-567-6036]
Time: 9:00 AM - whenever the walk ends (probably noon)
Location: Central Park – Walkers should enter the venue at the corner of the park at 59th St. and 5th Ave. to sign in at the registration tables. Once you've signed in, go look for the area assigned to Stuyvesant HS Key Club's Team (it's arranged alphabetically).
Directions: For Walkers – 4, 5, 6, N, R, W to Lexington Ave-59th Street.
Note: Wear sensible footwear (obviously). Dress warmly!!! Also, bring an umbrella and a poncho/raincoat.

Volunteers:
First, for today's volunteer orientation, we really wanted all the volunteers to come so they could learn what they have to do at tomorrow's walk. We know some of you had other obligations, but definitely not all of you. A very depressing number of volunteers actually showed up to the orientation. For those of you who did go, you guys are awesome, and as a reward for going all the way to midtown on a rainy SATURDAY, we're going to give you extra points. You guys definitely deserve it =].
Here is the info you need:
Project Captain: Alice Wu [917-470-7552]
Time: 6:30 AM – whenever the walk ends (probably noon)
Location: Enter at Central Park Bandshell. Sign in at the volunteer check-in table where they will assign your route marshalling location (it's first come, first serve).
Directions: Take the B,C train to Central Park West and 72nd St.
Task: Cheer walkers on, help walkers (especially in emergency situations), and direct walkers.
Note: Wear sensible footwear (since you'll be standing all day). Bring an umbrella and a poncho/raincoat. Dress WARMLY. You guys get a free lunch, bottle of water, and an AIDS Walk hat. Make sure to eat breakfast and bring snacks if you're going to get hungry before lunch is served.
